At its meeting on July 17, 2017, the Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG appointed Dietmar Heinrich (53) to the Board of Managing Directors. On August 1, 2017, Mr. Heinrich will take up his role as Chief Financial Officer of Schaeffler AG, replacing Dr. Ulrich Hauck, who will not have his contract extended, and will be resigning on good terms effective August 1, 2017.
During the German home round of Team ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport in Berlin (June 10/11) Schaeffler and Audi agreed on an extensive cooperation in the development of the powertrain for the next three generations of the Formula E race car. Schaeffler Chief Technology Officer Prof. Peter Gutzmer and Peter Mertens, Member of the Board of Management, Technical Development AUDI AG, signed a three-year agreement in Berlin-Tempelhof.
